General Tournament Information

PLEASE REVIEW OUR REFUND POLICIES CAREFULLY. BY ENTERING THE EVENT YOU ASSUME RISK OF LOSS OF A PORTION OR ALL OF YOUR REGISTRATION FEE IF YOUR TEAM CANCELS. PENALTIES INCREASE IN SEVERITY THE CLOSER THE CANCELLATION IS TO START OF THE EVENT. IF YOU ARE NOT IN AGREEMENT WITH POLICIES YOU MAY WITHDRAW YOUR REGISTRATION WITH 100% REFUND OF MONIES PAID IF EMAIL NOTIFICATION IS RECEIVED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE DATE/TIME OF YOUR REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION DEADLINE WITH 100% REFUND EXTENDS ONLY 24 HOURS AFTER REGISTRATION IS SUBMITTED AND NOT 24 HOURS AFTER SUBMISSION OF PAYMENT/DEPOSIT.

General Refund Policy

$350 of any deposit or entry fee submitted is non-refundable upon receipt. All monies received are non-refundable if a team cancels within 45 days of the tournament start date. 100% refunds will be made to teams involved in divisions that do not fill. Effected teams will be contacted a minimum of 21 days prior to the tournament start date and refunds will be issued promptly.

COVID Refund Policy
In the event we are compelled by USA HOCKEY or the host state, county, or municipality to cancel a tournament due to mandated COVID restrictions, FULL refunds will be made within 14 days of the cancellation date.

 

Team Roster Requirements

A copy of your official certified roster (issued by USA Hockey or Hockey Canada) will be required by our on-site director prior to each tournament game. Please note: Actual hard copies of your roster document are required for presentation and retention by our on-site director. Also, please note that only officially rostered players, coaches, and administrators are allowed in bench area.

In addition, please enter names of all players and personnel appearing on official team roster (issued from USA Hockey or Hockey Canada) including birth year and uniform number of each player through the Log-In area at www.itshockeytime.com. Birth year information is necessary to ensure the best possible placement of your team.

Tournament Schedule
Schedules are available for viewing from the “Log-In” area of the Hockey Time website 10-14 days prior to the event.

Other activities: Teams wishing to schedule activities such as dinners, sporting events, etc. must contact Hockey Time at least 21 days prior to the tournament start date. Most reasonable requests can be accommodated if timely communication takes place. Do not make deposits or purchase tickets until your request has been approved or conflicts may result. If such conflicts do occur, schedules will not be changed to accommodate the activity. If request has been approved by a Hockey Time representative, it is incumbent upon requesting team to insist upon email authorization.

Start/Finish Parameters

Events scheduled Friday through Sunday may start as early as 8:00 am on Friday. Sunday Championship games may start as late as 5:00 pm in all cities.

Martin Luther King (mid-January) and President’s Day (mid-February) tournaments are listed as 4-day events, Friday thru Monday. However, play for out of town teams will be limited to 3 days. Certain divisions will play Friday thru Sunday and others will play Saturday thru Monday.

Notification of divisional start/finish dates will occur by email 14-21 days prior to the event with game schedules being available through the Log-In area 10-14 days prior to the event.

Friday games may start as early as 8:00 a.m. Teams playing on Saturday thru Monday may start as early as 7:00 am Saturday. Championship games may start as late as 5:00 pm in all cities.

A final note to team contacts please communicate clearly to parents start/finish parameters. Requests for late start and or early finish times will be noted, reviewed, and accommodated whenever possible. However, no guarantee will be extended under any circumstances.

Air Travel
Team contacts should submit by email, return receipt requested, a detailed proposed itinerary including arrival and departure times at least 21 days prior to the start of the tournament and prior to finalizing flight purchases.
