20th Annual Capital House League Championships – Weekend 1 (U9) Presented by the West End Hockey League

The 20th annual edition of the Capital House League Championships is presented by the host West End Hockey League and will be headquartered at the state-of-the-art Bell Sensplex.
This year’s jamboree will feature the following format, due to the changes to Hockey Canada regulations for the U9 age group:
- U9 Tiers 2: 2 half ice scrimmages, and 2 competitive skills competitions
- U9 Tier 3 and 4: 3 half ice scrimmages, and 1 competitive skills competition
This year’s event will offer the following great features:
- Professionally run skills competition & scrimmages run with professional half-ice rink dividers (two teams per side)
- Prizing for skills competition champions
- Great competition
- Best facilities anywhere for hockey events
The Bell Sensplex features plenty to compliment the action on the ice, including:
- Centre Ice Restaurant & Bar
- Hobbins Hockey Shop
The Bell Sensplex is the headquarters for this jamboree, however teams may play games at other local facilities.
Teams must be prepared to play as early as Friday, January 24th at 8:00am.
Hotel Accommodations
Hudson Travel Group is the exclusive travel partner for all tournaments hosted by Sensplex facilities. Booking with them is a condition of acceptance for all out of town teams. Accommodations for all events at Sensplex facilities will be arranged on your behalf by Kelly Hudson at kelly@htgsports.com or 1-800-668-5596. This will offer your team the lowest rates on a wide range of area hotels!
Ottawa Senators Tickets
The Senators are playing at home on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 vs. Toronto Maple Leafs at 7:00pm. If your team would like to purchase tickets, you will need to reach out to Shannon Jones, who is the Account Manager, Premium & Group Sales Manager for the Senators. Our Tournament Manager will do his best to accommodate teams in the tournament schedule that purchase Senators tickets through Shannon.

This jamboree is for house league teams (ie. non competitive or non select teams). All teams MUST be prepared to start as early as 8:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24th.
