Do you have a list of teams committed to play in tournament?
We sure do. They are listed online under each tournament name. Because we get teams signed from all over, we like to show everyone who their competition will be.
How do I apply for the tournament?
You can go to the tournament page of the website, you can select the “Team Registration” option. You can fill out all the information and either choose to pay the deposit or pay in full at that time.
What is the structure of the tournament?
Most all of our tournaments offer a 5 Round Robin games and play up to 7 with semi-finals and finals. Some do offer 4 games minimum and up to 6. We normally offer 5 games and up to 7 during the off-season or when school is out and or during Holiday weekends. Please check the specific tournament page for details. We offer 15 minute periods unless otherwise specified for more.
What is the refund policy?
OneHockey tournaments are non-refundable regardless of the circumstance. If, for any reason, your team cannot attend after you register, you may find a substitute team to send in your place who must pay in full – only in that event would you receive a refund.
Only tournaments or divisions canceled by OneHockey will be refunded in full.
What is the deadline to register for this tournament?
We ask that all teams register as early as one year prior to a tournament. They fill fast and 99% of attending teams return each year.
Do I have to stay at a particular hotel?
OneHockey tournaments are “Stay to Play” meaning if a player lives outside of a 40 mile radius from the rink, they are required to stay at a participating hotel offered through GameTime Travel™ and the hotel accommodations must be booked using the GameTime Travel™ System. Team Managers will be responsible for securing room blocks for teams with GameTime Travel™ system. Upon registration, Team Managers will be sent their team login information for the GameTime Travel™ system. The GameTime Travel™ system provides the Team Manager with the ability to secure their team block online and manage team hotel accommodations.

Is this tournament USA Hockey Sanctioned?
Most of our in-season events are USA Hockey sanctioned and the sanction number can be found on our website. Our Spring and Summer events are not because we bring in players from all over the world to play together on one team. For these events, OneHockey purchases insurance for all the players and coaches so nothing has to be done on the teams end. Your team manager will need to submit an official, signed copy of your USA Hockey Roster prior to tournament for all sanctioned events. Our in-season Canada Tournaments are locally sanctioned and Hockey Canada sanctioned. The Cincinnati Overtime is an AAU tournament.
How do I upload my roster?
Your team manager will be emailed instructions with how to upload the roster into our system.
Are there scouts at OneHockey tournaments?
We offer great exposure to NCAA, Junior, Prep School and even NHL scouts and coaches. OneHockey invites these scouts to attend our events and they are always eager to attend because of the top talent we have attending our events.
Please check out our Alumni page – ITS IMPRESSIVE!
Is the tournament held in one rink?
Is most cases, yes. However, for our larger tournaments, we may choose to expand to additional rinks. If that is the case, it will be listed on the specific tournament page of our website. Teams do not typically have to travel more than 30 min to play. It’s normally no more than 15 – 20 minutes.
Is there a gate/entry fee for spectators for this tournament?
There is a daily entry fee for spectators over the age of 18 for some events. Coaches, Team Managers and 18 & under are free. We offer all paying spectators a complimentary tournament program and lanyard/tournament pass and they get to take advantage of the hockey trade show that we have around the arena.
We would have to make flight arrangements – what time does the tournament start and end?
All OneHockey tournaments begin by 7:00 am on the first day and end by 4:30 pm on the last day. You can make your flight arrangements based upon these times.
When will the schedule be posted?
We typically release the schedule 3-4 weeks prior to the tournament. OneHockey makes every effort to limit the number of changes that take place to the schedule, however sometimes minor adjustments need to be made after the schedule is released.
