Insurance is required for the Tournament. It is not automatically included when you register your Team online. You must either add the “insurance” option to the registration form to purchase Tournament insurance or provide proof of personal insurance for your Team.

By registering for the Slapshot Cup, the Team manager, on behalf of the Team, releases the Slapshot Cup organizers, staff, officials, arenas, Arena staff, sponsors, and all parties concerned with this event from any liability for injury or accident that may occur to any Player or Team official participating in or traveling to and from this event.

Line-up Responsibility: Each Team is responsible for the composition of its line-up and the eligibility of its players.

Coaches’ Responsibility: Each team’s coaches are responsible for ensuring that each Player on their roster is legally eligible to participate in the Tournament.

Eligibility Check Chart: Coaches must refer to determine each Player’s eligibility.

Non-validation by the Tournament: The Tournament is not responsible for validating players at the time of Team registration. It is the coaches’ responsibility to verify their players’ eligibility in accordance with the established rules.

Disqualification of a Team: In the event of a protest concerning the eligibility of a Player and subsequent disqualification of the corresponding Team, the responsibility lies with the coaches who registered and played the ineligible players.

Liability Clause: The Tournament accepts no liability for disqualifying a Team for ineligible players; responsibility lies entirely with the relevant coaches.

By signing the registration form, coaches acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms of these rules regarding teams’ and coaches’ responsibility to validate Player eligibility.
