Welcome to the CAN/AM Challenge Cup in beautiful Montreal, Quebec! Your ultimate Tournament experience is finally about to begin. Upon arrival in Montreal, you will check in directly at your hotel. Once checked in, it’s time to check out Montreal. Everyone’s first stop is likely the Sportplexe Pierrefonds, where they will find one of the top 10 arenas in North America! The newly renovated Sportplexe features an Olympic-sized Arena, 3 NHL-sized arenas, spectator seating at each rink, an extensive lobby with flat screens throughout that replay game action, standings, and live TV, a restaurant, a bar, a pro shop, and daily equipment storage.

The Tournament headquarters will be in the Sportplexe’s upstairs lobby. Here you will find posted standings, locker room assignments, souvenirs, and, as always, the friendly CAN/AM Staff. Tournament Central is where your Team Rep will register before your first game. Your Team Rep will receive a memorable Player souvenir for each Player, along with any last-minute updates.

All games will be played at the Sportplexe Pierrefonds. Your game schedule will be available about one week before the Tournament Date. All teams are guaranteed three games. The games begin on Friday at 9:00 a.m. After the round-robin games are completed, the four top teams in each division will proceed to the Sunday Medal Championship games. By Saturday night, Medal matchups for your division will be set. Will your Team have what it takes to reach a Medal Game on Sunday morning? The Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal Games will be completed by 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

In all Divisions, Gold, Silver, and Bronze CAN/AM Championship medals will be awarded to each Player. A special Challenge Cup Championship plaque, as well as a first-place CAN/AM banner to hang in their home Arena, will be awarded to all Gold Medal teams.

On weekends, the CAN/AM Staff is always available to you. There is always a helpful staff member to guide you, answer questions, make suggestions, assist your players and guests, and even lock and unlock your Team’s dressing room door! Our goal is to help you get the most out of this special Hockey holiday weekend, no matter what happens on the ice. Our goal is to provide your Team with an unmatched Hockey experience. The Challenge Cup is a professional event for amateur players. That is why so many teams choose to make the CAN/AM Montreal Tournament an annual event.

We look forward to hosting your Team in La Belle Province.
