Portland Hockey Tournament 2026 – Boys 18U and Girls 19U
Experience Competitive Hockey in Portland, Oregon!
The Portland Hockey Tournament, organized by Weekend Hockey Tournaments, brings exciting youth Hockey competition to Portland, Oregon, from October 9–11, 2026.
Featuring Boys 18U and Girls 19U divisions, the tournament welcomes AA, A, and B Teams looking for competitive games, excellent Hockey facilities, and a memorable weekend in the Pacific Northwest.
With four guaranteed games, no gate fees, and championship awards, this tournament offers Players, Coaches, and families an exciting opportunity to compete while discovering everything Portland has to offer.
Tournament Schedule and Game Format
Tournament action begins Friday, October 9, at 9:00 a.m., and final games are scheduled to conclude Sunday, October 11, by 5:00 p.m.
Every participating Team is guaranteed four games, providing valuable opportunities for competition and Player development.
Games feature three 15-minute periods for both age groups.
Eligible divisions include:
- Boys 18U: AA, A, and B
- Girls 19U: AA
The tournament information identifies USA and Canadian birth-year classifications. Teams should confirm their eligibility with organizers before registering.
Three Hockey Facilities in the Portland Area
Tournament games will be hosted at three established Hockey facilities:
- Veterans Memorial Coliseum: Home of the Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League.
- Winterhawks Ice Center Sherwood: A Hockey facility serving the greater Portland area.
- Winterhawks Ice Center Beaverton: An additional venue supporting tournament competition.
Playing at Veterans Memorial Coliseum gives young Hockey Players the opportunity to compete in a venue associated with major junior Hockey.
Tournament Awards and Special Features
Weekend Hockey offers several features designed to recognize Players and create an enjoyable tournament experience.
The tournament package includes:
- Player of the Game awards for both Teams in every game.
- Individual awards for championship Teams.
- Championship Team trophies and banners.
- Championship photographs featured on Weekend Hockey’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
- Individual awards for second-place Teams.
- Sports medical trainers on-site.
- Professional tournament photography.
- Official hotel accommodations located near tournament arenas.
Canadian Teams can pay the registration fee at par when payment is made by e-transfer, according to the tournament’s published information.

A $500 deposit is required to secure a Team’s tournament registration.
Teams should register early and confirm division availability, hotel requirements, and tournament regulations directly with Weekend Hockey.
