This flagship Tournament of NST is as competitive as ever. This year’s event will be held at the completely renovated Hyde Park Ice Pavilion (see photo section) in Niagara Falls, NY. Over the last 4 years, the rink has gone through a complete overhaul. Both rinks have new locker rooms, ice surfaces, scoreboard, benches, and stands, plus the Stoneroom bar and restaurant is in full swing. Last year’s Tournament featured 48 teams, with 5 championship games decided by one goal! The average goal differential per game for the entire Tournament was 2.25!.
This year’s Tournament will feature AA, A, B, AE, MD, Select, and MOHL-level teams in the Mite, Squirts, Pee Wee, Bantam, and Midget Divisions. Teams from Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, NY, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Michigan, Illinois, Rhode Island, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Maine, and Ontario, Canada have been invited.
Each Team will play 4-6 games.
Each Team will have a minimum of four games, and the maximum number of games is dependent on the number of teams in your division.

After one game, NST will provide a tray of pizza for enjoyment in the J.R. Stone room, which is attached to the rink.

We spend hundreds of hours screening each application, and unlike other organizations that run 20-30 tournaments per year, we run 5 tournaments. With more than enough applicants, we carefully place each Team, where the objective of these larger Tournament venues is to fill their tournaments with as many teams as possible.
With 25 years of experience, we have learned that keeping things organized makes it easier for everyone. and for our attendees.
We provide a Tournament schedule 3-4 weeks prior to the tournament event. Schedules seldom change because we put them through a rigorous approval process, not to mention that all teams have already paid in full, and we typically have a waiting list.
USA Hockey Sanctioned
Each Player receives a thank-you gift (bag tag, puck, etc) for entering the Tournament. The gift changes every Tournament. Teams that advance to the championship game receive either an individual runner-up or a championship trophy. Champions will also receive a team trophy. Understanding kids’ expectations when making it to the Championship game, we spare no expense when it comes to our trophies.
