Welcome to CAN/AM in stunning Lake Placid, New York! Your ultimate experience is about to begin. Upon arrival, families and players will check in directly at their hotel, where they’ll receive tournament credentials. Once settled in, it’s time to explore Lake Placid. A must-see for everyone is the historic Olympic Center, home of the Miracle on Ice 1980 Arena.
Your weekend kicks off Friday at 12:00pm with a public skating session on the 1980 Arena/Olympic Oval/1932 Arena (subject to conditions and venue availability). Players, parents, siblings, and guests are all encouraged to take a spin on this legendary rink. After skating, join us for the Opening Ceremony, where teams are introduced, anthems are sung, and the Olympic Torch is lit to officially mark the start of the weekend. Following the ceremony, our games begin. On Friday evening, everyone is invited to the Miracle on Ice arena to cheer on their favorite staff members in the annual Coaches’ Game, a CAN/AM tradition!
With games starting Friday afternoon, your team’s schedule will run through Sunday morning. (Game schedule will be available about one week before the tournament date.)
On Saturday evening after dinner, we wrap up the weekend with the Special Hockey Party. Join us for a celebration filled with music, dancing competitions, great prizes, and of course, medal presentations for all our incredible participants. It’s the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable weekend!
