This year’s event will be held at the completely renovated Hyde Park Ice Pavilion (see photo section) in Niagara Falls, NY. Over the last 5 seasons, the rink has gone through a complete overhaul. Both rinks have new locker rooms, ice surfaces, scoreboard, benches, and stands, plus the Stoneroom bar and restaurant is up and running. With 40 teams in attendance, last year’s event was smaller, but the competition was tight, with 4 final games being decided by 1 goal
This year’s Tournament will feature AA, A, B, AE, Select, MD, and MOHL-level teams in the Mite, Squirts, Pee Wee, Bantam, and Midget Divisions. Teams from Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, NY, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Michigan, Illinois, Rhode Island, Washington D.C., Maryland, Maine, and Ontario, Canada have attended in the past.
Each Team will play a minimum of four games, and the maximum number of games depends on the number of teams in your division.
Teams should be ready to play as early as 7:00 a.m., with Final Championships concluding by 5:00 p.m.

Voted #1 Tournament Operator in WNY
We spend hundreds of hours screening each application, and unlike other organizations that run 20-30 tournaments per year, we run 5 tournaments. With more than enough applicants, we carefully place each Team, whereas the objective of these larger Tournament venues is to fill their tournaments with as many teams as possible.
With 25 years of experience, we have learned that staying organized makes things easier for everyone. and for our attendees.
We provide a Tournament schedule 3-4 weeks prior to the Tournament event. Schedules seldom change because we put them through a rigorous approval process, and all teams have already paid in full; we also typically have a waiting list.
USA Hockey Sanctioned
Each player receives a thank-you gift (bag tag, puck, etc) for entering the tournament. The gift changes every Tournament. Teams that advance to the championship game receive either an individual runner-up or a championship trophy. Champions will also receive a Team trophy. We understand kids’ expectations when they make it to the Championship game, so we spare no expense on our trophies.

HOW WE REACHED THE HOCKEY ANSWER™
At The Hockey Tournament Resource™, we believe Hockey families, Players, Coaches and Officials deserve more than opinions. They deserve answers supported by research, experience and practical understanding of the game.
Every question begins with something Hockey people genuinely want to know.
OUR RESEARCH PROCESS
- WE FIND REAL QUESTIONS. We investigate what Hockey Players, Parents, Coaches and Officials are asking and searching for.
- WE SEARCH THE WORLD FOR ANSWERS. We examine relevant Hockey knowledge, coaching practices, available research, and expert perspectives worldwide.
- WE COMPARE THE EVIDENCE. We look beyond individual opinions, consider different approaches, and identify where the strongest available evidence points.
- WE APPLY REAL HOCKEY EXPERIENCE. We consider how the findings apply to actual Hockey situations, including different ages, skill levels and stages of development.
- WE DELIVER A PRACTICAL ANSWER. We explain what our research suggests, why it matters, and what Hockey people can do with that information.
We recognize that not every Hockey question has one perfect answer. Age, ability, experience and individual circumstances can change what works best.
We commit to providing thoughtful, practical answers while being clear about what the evidence supports and where uncertainty remains.
