MISSION STATEMENT

RSG Selects Hockey provides a premiere youth-to-Junior spring development and team program based on the lifelong principles of teamwork, sportsmanship, education, and respect for coaches, referees, and the opposition.

We are committed to teaching a competitive culture for every player at every level. To achieve this, we provide our players in the appropriate age groups the opportunity to participate in a structured hockey environment that offers:

  1. High-quality coaching and trainers
  2. Extensive on-ice skill development and off-ice strength training
  3. State-of-the-art training facilities
  4. Competition in games and tournaments against top teams

RSG SELECTS TOURNAMENT SERIES AT BRIDGEWATER SPORTS ARENA AND ROCK ICE

Tournament Information

  • All Tournaments are a 4 game minimum
  • Team Trophy,  Medals for all finalists(Bantams and Younger)
  • Stanley Cup Replica for Champions – Photo with the Cup
  • Live scoring updates online and up to the minute standings
  • A friendly, professional staff eager to help during the entire tournament

These are Tier II tournaments. Tier 1 – AAA players Need to play a year up in the AA division or are subject to DQ

Tournament Format

  • Teams will play at their 2024 – 2025 birth year designations. 
  • 4 Game Guarantee
  • Mite (Half-Ice) – 2 x 20 minute Halves running time , line changes on the fly
  • Squirt – 2 x 17 Min Halves,  stop time
  • PeeWee and Bantam – 2 x 18 Min Halves,  stop time
  • Midget 2 x 19 Min Halves,  stop time

Spring / Summer Birth Years

  • Squirt – 2015 / 2014
  • Peewee- 2013 / 2012
  • Bantam – 2011 / 2010
  • U16 Midget – 2009 / 2008
  • U18 Midget – 2007 / 2006
  • Tag up offsides
  • Running Clock when teams are up by 5 goals in the second half, stopped clocks resume when game gets to with in 2 goals
  • Icing on Penalty kill is allowed
