CONTINUES PROSPECT SHOWCASE SERIES IN 2026
TROY, MI (December 4, 2026) – The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), the governing body for non‐NCAA men’s and women’s Hockey in the United States, today announced it will continue its Prospect Showcase Series in the spring of 2025.
The 2025 ACHA Prospect Showcase Series has been expanded and will now be held at five sites across the United States:
The 2025 ACHA Prospect Showcase Series aims to educate prospective men’s and women’s student-athletes and their families about the ACHA, the world’s largest collegiate Hockey association, while providing exposure to ACHA teams and coaching staffs.
The 2025 ACHA Prospect Showcase Series will focus on High School and Junior Hockey men’s and women’s prospects (i.e., student-athletes with 2004-2009 birth years) that are looking to continue their competitive Hockey careers while attending college.
The ACHA has once again partnered with Capper Hockey Services to develop and manage the 2025 ACHA Prospect Showcase Series, and will be joined by many of the 475-plus ACHA college Hockey programs to conduct each event. The 2026 ACHA Prospect Showcase Series “weekend experience” at each site will consist of:
o Competitive Hockey
o Ladder of Hockey development options
o Education of the college Hockey landscape
o Academic preparation for college Hockey
o Exposure to coaches from all 5 divisions of ACHA Hockey
Prospective student-athletes will play three (3) games as well as one (1) practice run by ACHA coaches. ACHA coaches will also be coaching on the benches and communicating directly with prospects during the games.
An educational seminar for prospective student-athletes and their families on the ACHA will take place on Day Two of each ACHA Prospect Showcase to discuss options for prospective student-athletes to consider, including all levels of ACHA Hockey, junior Hockey, NCAA Division 1 Hockey, and NCAA Division 3 Hockey. The ACHA will also conduct a College Fair at each ACHA Prospect Showcase to permit prospective student-athletes and their families the opportunity to speak directly with ACHA coaches and university representatives.
“Last year we hosted three incredible showcases in New Jersey, Las Vegas, and Adrian, Michigan,” said Joe Caprio, Owner of Capper Hockey Services. “We are excited to continue our success from last year and build on that success with the 2025 ACHA Prospect Showcase Series. Based on the amount of positive feedback we received from players, coaches, and parents, we know we are creating something special with these events. These showcases are allowing ACHA coaches to see talent that they may not have been able to see due to schedule restrictions and conflicts. We had over 40 players commit to different universities after last year’s events!”
“These showcase events not only highlight and educate the ACHA but give players and parents insightful knowledge about each division and the programs within the ACHA,” continued Capper. “We are excited to bring five total showcases this year to give even more men and women the exposure and opportunity they deserve to further their Hockey careers and education in the ACHA. We look forward to continuing the success in New Jersey, Las Vegas, and Adrian, as well as bringing a great event and experience to Fargo and St Louis!”

The players and coaches were treated unbelievably well. The amount of interaction the players and coaches receive with each other makes it a very valuable experience. It is one of the top showcases I like to go to every year to scout.”

“The ACHA Prospect Showcase Series is professional and provides valuable experience for the student-athletes to interact directly with collegiate coaches in the perfect environment,” said Jenna Trubiano, Head Coach of the University of Michigan, ACHA Women’s Division I. “As a coach, we have multiple opportunities to interact with prospective students and their parents or guardians to educate them on the recruitment process specific to our program.”

Players can have one-on-one conversations with these coaches and receive feedback/knowledge to pursue their future Hockey careers and aspirations to play college Hockey.”
