Weekend 1 of the 49th annual Cougar Cup is presented by the host Gloucester Centre Minor Hockey Association and will be headquartered at the state-of-the-art Richcraft Sensplex, where parents can enjoy the action from the comfort of The Puck Stop Restaurant above three of our four ice surfaces. The event will be facilitated by the same experienced staff as tournaments at the Bell Sensplex, whose tournaments, year after year, feature some of the best and most diverse competition available at the house league level, regularly featuring an extensive waiting list at many divisions. The Cougar Cup is pleased to guarantee a three-game minimum for all teams and aims to provide teams with their best tournament experience of the season!

The Richcraft Sensplex features plenty to compliment the action on the ice, including:

The Richcraft Sensplex is the headquarters for this tournament, however, teams may play games at other local facilities.
Teams must be prepared to play as early as Friday, January 12th at 8:00 a.m.

We are excited to announce the NHL Season will be underway and the Ottawa Senators will be hosting the San Jose Sharks on Saturday, January 13th at 4:00pm. We will be offering a special team rate for anyone interested in booking tickets. Interested teams must book with Ottawa Senators group sales account manager Shannon Jones at JonesS@ottawasenators.com or by phone at 613-599-0377. Tournament scheduling will accommodate those group tickets purchased through these official channels. Please note that ticket sales will be limited and sold on a first come first serve basis to accommodate tournament scheduling needs.
HEO Minor Sanction Number:
Format: Teams will play a minimum of three games, followed by playoff rounds for those who qualify.
Period Lengths: U18: 3 x 10 min stop time. Body checking will not be permitted in any division.
This tournament is for house league teams (ie. non competitive or non select teams). All teams MUST be prepared to start as early as 8:00 a.m. on Friday, January 12th.
