13TH ANNUAL PONYTAIL INVITATIONAL ALASKA GIRLS HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS APRIL 10-12, 2026
The 13th Annual Ponytail Invitational will be held April 10-12, 2026, in Anchorage. All girls who play hockey in Alaska are invited to participate. This is a fun event that showcases the growth of girls’ Hockey throughout Alaska. Associations may form as many teams as they wish. Girls from associations without enough players to form a team may contact the tournament and be placed on another team that needs a few more players. Registration deadline is February 15, 2026. This is to be a celebration of girls’ hockey in Alaska!
8U Cross-Ice Jamboree
– All teams play four (4) 1-hour sessions of cross-ice games
– No scores or standings are kept
Recreational Divisions
10U, 12U, 14U
*Girls who played on comp teams during the 2023-2024 season must play up one age division to participate in the recreational divisions.
Open Division
14U Comp/16U/19U players (Separate Registration Link)
– Players will register individually, and a draft will take place to try to make balanced teams
All teams in the Recreational and Open Division will play a minimum of 4 games.
Awards will be given to the top two teams
