13TH ANNUAL PONYTAIL INVITATIONAL ALASKA GIRLS HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS APRIL 12-14, 2024

The 13th Annual Ponytail Invitational will be held April 12-14, 2024 in Anchorage. All girls that play hockey in Alaska are invited to participate. This is a fun event that showcases the growth of girls hockey throughout the state of Alaska. Associations may form as many teams as they wish. Girls from associations without enough girls to form a team may contact the tournament and be placed on another team that is in need of some more players. Registration deadline is February 15, 2024. This is to be a celebration of Girls Hockey in Alaska!

8U Cross-Ice Jamboree
– All teams play four (4) 1-hour sessions of cross-ice games
– No scores or standings are kept

Recreational Divisions
10U, 12U, 14U
*Girls that played on comp teams during the 2023-2024 season must play up one age division to participate in the recreational divisions.

Open Division
14U Comp/16U/19U players (Separate Registration Link)
– Players will register individually and a draft will take place to try to make balanced teams

All teams in Recreational and Open Division will play a minimum of 4 games.
Awards will be given to the top two teams

*Girls who played on a “comp” team during the 2023-2024 season, must play up an age division in order to compete in a Recreational Division. Girls participating in the Open Division must use separate registration link and register individually ($100/player). A draft will take place to make balanced teams.
