Every hockey player has a story.
Some stories include championships.
Some include championships that never happened.
Some include scholarships, junior hockey, college hockey, professional hockey, or simply a lifelong love of the game.
But behind almost every hockey story is someone else.
A parent.
A grandparent.
A guardian.
A family member.
Someone who woke up before sunrise.
Someone who loaded equipment bags into a vehicle.
Someone who sat through practices, games, tournaments, road trips, and long winters.
Someone who quietly made the journey possible.
For generations, hockey parents have been one of the most important parts of the game.
Not because they scored goals.
Not because they coached teams.
Not because they appeared on score sheets.
But because they showed up.
Again and again.
Year after year.
They drove the miles.
They paid the bills.
They packed the lunches.
They washed the jerseys.
They booked the hotels.
They tied the skates.
They celebrated the victories.
They supported their children through the disappointments.
And most importantly, they gave young people an opportunity to experience something special.

That is why we created Hockey Parents Appreciated™.
Every Saturday, we celebrate a different part of the hockey parent experience through our Hockey Parents Club and The 5:30 A.M. Club series.

All of them are intended to recognize the commitment, sacrifice, dedication, and love that hockey parents have brought to the game for generations.

Because long after the scores are forgotten, many players remember something else.
