Boston is often referred to as the “Hub” because it was considered the “Hub of the Universe.” This nickname is particularly fitting when you think of Boston as the hub of the college Hockey universe. The city is home to prestigious Hockey programs at Boston College, Boston University, Harvard, and Northeastern, as well as U-Mass Lowell, Providence, Merrimack, Bentley, Brown, and Holy Cross within a 45-mile radius. During the BASH, players, teams, and families have the unique opportunity to visit these schools.
While away from the rink, they can also catch a Red Sox, Bruins, or Celtics game or explore Boston’s many historic neighborhoods, such as the North End, the Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and Fenway. There’s no better time to experience all the “Hub” offers than in May.

Five-game guarantee
Three, 15-minute periods + OT
Games start Thursday morning. Teams/families can arrive anytime on Wednesday.
The championship game is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.* on Sunday. *The championship game could start 30 minutes earlier or later, depending on the final schedule the rink provides.

Hotel Information
Our event is a “Stay to Play” event: a good working relationship with hotels is critical to its long-term success. For this reason, teams or attendees traveling from out of town must book their rooms through our Official Travel Partner to ensure that our room blocks are utilized. In short, since the hotels are holding rooms for our event, we must use these rooms.

“Stay to Play” buyout option: $995 (US)
Teams can choose to find hotels on their own. Teams that do not use a Tournament host hotel will be billed $995.
