ALOHA! The Draft Family is headed to the Hawaii this coming March! This has been along time coming and we couldn’t be more excited to head to one of the most beautiful places on the planet. The Ice Palace in Honolulu will place host to the Hawaii’s first ever draft tournament March 2nd – 5th, 2025. As excited as we are, we also need to know that the Draft Family is as well! That said, starting Monday Oct 28, we will open a two week pre registration blitz in order to gauge interest. If heading to the Aloha state to play some puck and put your feet up with a cold on the beach, now is your chance!
WE NEED AT LEAST 40 PEOPLE TO PRE REG MAKE THIS A POSSIBILITY!

As one might imagine, playing hockey in Hawaii will be a little different. Due to being the only rink on the islands, they have limited availability for an event like ours. Some important things you need to know:
- Due to the relatively short turn around on this tournament, the pre registration fee is $200. **This is a non refundable fee if the tournament goes ahead. If the tournament does not happen, the pre registration fee will be refunded OR held as credit on your account which ever your preference.**
- This tournament will take place over the course of 4 days.
- Draft Party Sunday March 2nd
- Games one and two for each team will take place Monday March 3rd (9am – 2pm)
- Games three and four for each team will take place Tuesday March 4th (9am – 2pm)
- The A and B finals will take place Wednesday March 5th (1015am – 1230pm)
- The arena is set up a little different then what were used to. There are NO locker rooms and no shower facilities. Instead, for events like ours, they set up the mezzanine area into 4 areas, 1 for each team.
- The price for this tournament will be more than what we’re used to. Expected tournament price (No Hotel) is $949 usd, $899 usd (with draftfamily code), and for those of you joining the Draft Family for the first time, $849 usd (with the get drafted code)
- At the moment we do not have a hotel partner. Once this tournament becomes reality, we will do some more digging on this and pass along any information.
- Further details in regard to Draft Party Location etc will be provided over the coming weeks once we know this adventure is good to go!

All Hockey Skills Are Welcome
Your skill level matters not, to us or others, as long as you can put your skates on, everyone is welcome at Draft Tournaments. Our focus is to have fun, both on and off the ice. We make sure all teams are evenly matched.
The uniform is Yours to Keep
Every hockey tournament features fun and outrageous uniforms that are yours to keep once you are drafted. Jersey, pant shells and socks all uniquely designed for each team and hockey tournament. Once home, wear them to your team or pick up games. Or shinny.
Friday Draft Party
A perfect way to start the weekend, you will be drafted to a team, and you will have the chance to hangout with everyone playing in the tournament in a crazy and fun atmosphere. Make sure you practice chugging beer (or other fizzy beverages if beer is not your thing)!
