The NHL Ottawa Senators organization is proud to welcome back for its 19th season the Annual Ottawa Senators Showcase Tournament, presented by Ottawa Myers Automotive AAA. For 18 seasons, this event has been THE top showcase tournament in Ontario; featuring most of the top ranked teams from the province along with those from the US and other parts of Canada, and attended by countless scouts.

Headquartered out of the Bell Sensplex (official practice facility of our NHL Ottawa Senators) and Richcraft Sensplex, the premier facilities in the National Capital Region, the extremely organized nature of this event will ensure your experience is second to none. This HEO Minor sanctioned tournament has established itself as one of the premier tournaments anywhere.

We are proud to offer your team the opportunity to take part in this first-class event at the best facilities anywhere for tournaments.

Some tournament features include:

• A guaranteed FOUR game minimum (up to 7 possible for those that qualify for playoffs)
• Great competition (each year featuring an abundance of top ranked teams)
• Tournament Most Valuable Player (including a $500 education bursary) awarded at the conclusion of the Championship Game.
• Previous events highly scouted by OHL, Junior, College and Pro Scouts. Tournament will prepare a scouting booklet.

While the Bell Sensplex and Richcraft Sensplex facilities are the headquarters for this event, some teams may play games at other local facilities.

HTG Sports is the exclusive travel partner for all tournaments hosted by Sensplex Tournaments. Booking with them is a mandatory condition of acceptance for all out of town teams. Ottawa Senators Tickets

The Senators are playing at home on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 vs. New Jersey Devils at 7:00pm. They also play at home on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 vs. Tampa Bay Lightning at 1:00pm. If your team would like to purchase tickets, you will need to reach out to Shannon Jones, who is the Account Manager, Premium & Group Sales Manager for the Senators. Our Tournament Manager will do his best to accommodate teams in the tournament schedule that purchase Senators tickets through Shannon.

HEO Minor Sanction #: 24-029

Format:

All round-robin, quarterfinal and semi-final games will consist of 1 x 12, 2 x 15-minute stop time periods with a FLOOD after every two (2) playing periods.  The Championship Game will consist of 2 x 15 and 1 x 20-minute stop time periods, including a FLOOD between the 2nd and 3rd period.

Games may begin as early as 8 a.m. on Friday, October 18 (could be as early as 4pm on Thursday, October 17 depending on tournament size). Consideration will be given for those teams travelling the furthest distances to attend. Contact the tournament committee to advise of travel plans if necessary.
