Annual Ottawa Senators U18 Showcase Tournament Presented by Ottawa Myers Automotive AAA
The NHL Ottawa Senators organization is proud to welcome back for its 19th season the Annual Ottawa Senators Showcase Tournament, presented by Ottawa Myers Automotive AAA. For 18 seasons, this event has been the premier showcase tournament in Ontario, featuring most of the top-ranked teams from the province, as well as those from the US and other parts of Canada, and attended by numerous scouts.
Headquartered at the Bell Sensplex (the official practice facility of our NHL Ottawa Senators) and the Richcraft Sensplex, the premier facilities in the National Capital Region, the highly organized nature of this event will ensure your experience is second to none. This HEO Minor-sanctioned tournament has established itself as one of the premier tournaments anywhere.
We are proud to offer your team the opportunity to participate in this premier event, held at the finest facilities for tournaments anywhere.
Some tournament features include:
- A guaranteed FOUR game minimum (up to 7 possible for those that qualify for playoffs)
- Great competition (each year featuring an abundance of top-ranked teams)
- Tournament Most Valuable Player (including a $500 education bursary) is awarded at the conclusion of the Championship Game.
- OHL, Junior, College, and Pro Scouts highly scouted previous events. The tournament will prepare a scouting booklet.
- Best facility anywhere for tournaments
- Prizing awarded to Champions and Finalists
- Awards ceremony following EVERY game for “Player of the Game” selections from both teams
- Fantastic hotels, shopping, and amenities within 5 minutes of the tournament headquarters
The Bell Sensplex features plenty to complement the action on the ice, including:

While the Bell Sensplex and Richcraft Sensplex facilities are the headquarters for this event, some teams may play games at other local facilities.
Hotel Accommodations
HTG Sports is the exclusive travel partner for all tournaments hosted by Sensplex Tournaments. Booking with them is a mandatory condition of acceptance for all out-of-town teams. Ottawa Senators Tickets
Format:
All round-robin, quarterfinal, and semi-final games will consist of 1 x 12, 2 x 15-minute stop time periods with a FLOOD after every two (2) playing periods. The Championship Game will consist of 2 x 15-minute and 1 x 20-minute stop-time periods, including a flood between the 2nd and 3rd periods.
Games may begin as early as 8 a.m. on Friday, October 18 (could be as early as 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, depending on tournament size). Consideration will be given to those teams travelling the furthest distances to attend. Contact the tournament committee to advise them of your travel plans, if necessary.
